If you had the pleasure of knowing her, you loved her. Her laugh was infectious. Her endless creative spirit was inspiring. Her wittiness charmed. When I first met her, she took me under her wing and welcomed me into the most beautiful world that I could not have imagined without her. Without Tracy Lazaro, Flutter would not have existed. It was our brainchild that first came to life in the spring of 2012 in Santa Barbara. Together, with so many like minded friends and artists, we built the foundation of something that brought endless beauty into all of our lives, that brought people together from around the world, and that quite frankly, changed my life. I don't have many pictures of the two of us because she always ran from the camera, but this one, I will cherish forever. It was taken the night our first print issue arrived, hot off the press. It was a surreal moment for both of us to see the endless hours and late nights come to life in tangible form.

Tracy, I am forever grateful for your friendship, your kindness, your laughter, your mentorship, and for you just being you... I hope you are somewhere soaring among the flowers and wild horses.

Here’s to celebrating our glorious Mother Earth today and every day! 🥂🌎🌷

This gathering was a celebration of food, nature and likeminded friends at @thewunderkammer_urbanfarm in the spring of 2019.

Surrounded by an abundance of blooming potted flowers + plants, animals, various gardens, a wild meadow and beautiful life-sized topiaries that flanked each end of the table we sat at...it was one of those magical evenings thats exceptional beauty and spirit was made possible by Mother Earth...and the thoughtful aesthetic of @thewunderkammer_amsterdam, of course!
