What are the creative retreats?
The retreats are intimate bespoke journeys that combine leisure luxury travel with cultivated creative experience. We strive to show guests each place as a true visitor, partnering with locals to immerse everyone in authentic culture and cuisine – with one of a kind experiences in cooking, floral, art, photography, and design – inspired by the destination visited. They are truly wonderful adventures.
Who are the retreats for?
The retreats are a mix of design-oriented experience and wanderlust travel with likeminded creative women. Some days are dedicated to immersive design inspired by the regions visited and others to group and solo exploration.
The tours are open to anyone ages 21 and older. They are tailored for:
– Adventurists seeking unique cultural experiences in art, music, culinary delights, floral design, and more!
– Creatives looking to re-inspire their personal and/or business daily intentions with likeminded individuals.
– Creatives looking to create content for their businesses / blogs / social media channels.
– Dreamers who aspire to one day launch a creative business – the group synergy and energy is inspiring!
– Wanderlusts wanting to be immersed in the beauty and culture of the destination.
Do I need to be in the wedding industry?
Not at all! While we certainly attract the wedding and events crowd, we encourage creative, aesthetically-inspired, design-minded wanderlusts of all kind to join us. The creative synergy that conspires from a group of creatives is contagious…and priceless!
Will I be published in the magazine?
We get great joy in sharing the beauty of our heart-fluttering experiences with our readers. It’s a way for us to celebrate our guests and our shared journey. A portion of each retreat will be published in future editions of Flutter. If you wish to remain private, just let us know and we’ll work around your wishes, no questions asked!
Will I get photos of myself from the trip?
Yes! We have professional fine art photographers joining us all along the way to document the travels as a group. If you are looking to get professional imagery of yourself for your business we encourage you to schedule a session with the photographers on your tour during free time.
I’m a creative looking to create content. What photo opportunities will I have for my business / website / blog?
If you are a professional photographer or a hobbyist, the retreats are a culmination of beautifully styled experiences, food, art, flora, documentary travel and whatever else you can dream up. We will provide you endless opportunity to both create and capture content.
I will most likely be attending alone. Are others traveling alone or in groups?
Most of our guests have traveled alone (i.e. they did not come with a friend). We will gladly connect all attendees ahead of time so they can share travel to and from the initial meeting location.
Guest Limit
Space is limited to 10 guests for the optimum experience. All guests must be over 21 years of age and are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Investment
The retreats are highly curated, truly one-of-a-kind adventures. Depending on the destination, length of the tour, and activities involved, tour prices range from $4500 – $7000. The tour price typically includes all accommodations, activities, meals (with the exception of free time), and transportation during the retreat, as well as special gifts and surprises throughout. Please reference the individual tour pages for pricing.
Dietary Restrictions
Culinary experiences are a big part of each retreat. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as you sign up so we can plan accordingly.
Air Travel
Air and/or Sea Travel are not included in the retreat. Each guest is responsible for booking their own travel to and from the retreat destination. We encourage guests to plan a few extra days before the retreat to relax, unwind, and get acclimated with the time change.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend attendees purchase travel insurance at their own expense and peace of mind.
Transportation
During the retreat we will provide transportation to and from the hotel or villa to all listed group activities. We encourage you to enjoy your free time doing more exploration. Taxi’s and Uber’s are readily available for your extracurricular excursions.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately due to the involved logistics & up front costs of these events we have a strict no refund and no cancellation policy regardless of circumstance. If you need to cancel we will happily help you try to find a replacement for your spot, and if we can find one you will be refunded in full minus a service charge of $200 but only in the event that a replacement is found. We strongly urge you to buy travel insurance and to be sure you can make it before you book.
