“One might say that the theme for this rich and memorable elopement at the stunning Hammersky Vineyards in California could easily be called ‘French Heritage in Vineyard’ – inspired by the importance of the of the bride and groom’s heritage, and the beautiful similarities between the Champagne region of France and California’s Central Coast wine region.
The special accent piece on the invitation suite was a hand-drawn map, depicting the couple & their families journey from France to California. The entire suite was handcrafted on delicate vintage paper, complete with stamps from The Palace of Versailles and the like. With a recent trip to France still fresh on my mind, for the tablescape, I chose to include the vibrant yellows inspired from the exteriors and stunning gardens at the Palace of Versailles. The lace pattern and muted tones of the tablescape were meant to evoke the elegance, tradition, and refinement of the French culture.” – Designer, Amanda Landon
