Take me back to the land of champagne popping, vineyard hopping, garden gazing, wine tasting romance with my best girls! Yes, this past weekend I celebrated my love affair with wine country for my bachelorette festivities in Napa, California. Here’s how the picture perfect party went down…
My Essential Whites
I searched high and low for my weekend whites. My heart fluttered for just about everything at Anthropologie’s bridal store BHLDN. They have the sweetest selection of all your bridal necessities… pre-wedding through post-honeymoon! Here’s what I packed in my trousseau:
From top to bottom, left to right: Custom MRS & MOH Hats, BHLDN Nimbus Wedges, BHLDN scalloped Marysia Bikini, Twigs & Honey Floral Crown, BHLDN Mallorca Tunic, Rosé All Day iPhone Case, Jenny Yoo Cleo Crop Top.
The Bachelorette Bag
I wanted to welcome my girls to the weekend with some swag. I sourced jute wine totes and stuffed them with festive weekend essentials that included Plum Pretty Sugar Shortie Sets, Clarins Sunscreen + Moisturizer, Wine Wipes, Mini Party Hats, Yes Way Rosé Cups, and, of course, the latest edition of Flutter Mag (the perfect poolside reading!).
The Weekend Itinerary
Destination: Napa, California
Lodging: Silverado Resort & Spa
Length of Trip: 3 1/2 Days
Friday: With friends traveling in from all across the country, we dedicated our first day together to a morning hike, spa pampering and poolside R+R.
Friday Evening: In true Flutter style, I wanted to treat my best girls to a most heart-fluttering dinner experience. I worked in collaboration with the renowned Paula LeDuc team, Jesse Tombs of Alison Events, and Kathleen Deery Design to throw an insanely gorgeous dinner party atop Viansa Sonoma. If you’ve never been, you must go! The 270° views of Sonoma Valley are nothing shy of spectacular. Add a glass of wine and you’re in heaven. Lucky for you, Sylvie Gil captured the entire sunset soirée that will be featured this Fall in Issue No. 11! I seriously cannot wait to share it with you!
Below is a sneak peek of the beautiful flower arrangements by Kathleen Deery, a signature Paula LeDuc floral cocktail, my girlfriend Chelsea sipping Viansa Pinot Noir, part of the A-Team that put this fabulous dinner together, and Paula LeDuc’s famous sugar-coated party favors.
Friday (Late Night): To add a cherry on top of our already incredible evening, we made our way to Cadet Wine Bar for a nightcap.
Saturday: Wine tasting! Wine tasting! And more wine tasting! Throw me on any vineyard in the sunshine and my soul smiles. 🙂 We toured and tasted at Silverado Vineyards, Kuleto Estate, Frog’s Leap, and Domaine Carneros.
Tasting Tip: If you follow our itinerary, I recommend making only three stops in one day. Four was a bit ambitious, leaving us rushing at times to get from one appointment to the next. Be sure to pack water and snacks! The Soda Canyon Store along the Silverado Trail has all the essentials.
Saturday Evening: We dined at Redd Wood in the charming town of Yountville followed by a 90’s dance party back in Napa at Napkins.
Sunday: Absolutely reserved for rosé (and mojitos) poolside! Cheers to the best bachelorette weekend!

This was helpful! I am planning a bachelorette party in Sonoma/Napa for September. What did you do for transportation between wineries?

Hi Kaleigh! One of my friends was pregnant. We rented a mini van and she played designated driver for the weekend. There are a ton of car services though that you can hire for day. Cheers!

Your bachelorette party seems like a dream! I am thinking of Doug Napa for mine as well and I am interested in knowing a little bit more about the logistics of how you girls got around. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated:)

Hi Cristina,
Thank you! It really was! One of my friends was pregnant. We rented a mini van and she played designated driver for the weekend. There are a ton of car services throughout the Napa Valley that you can hire for day. And of course there’s Uber! Cheers!
