SETTING THE SCENE
The Venue
The party was held at the historic Lombardi House in Hollywood. The newly remodeled digs offer up four private suites, a charming refurbished barn, and a gorgeous garden fit for fancy alfresco dining.
Backdrop Benefits
Spruce up any space with a decorative tapestry or fabric. We sourced our floral print from downtown LA’s fashion district where one can get lost in a textile frenzy.
Tabletop Trends to Try
• Ribbon-wrapped candles
• Sheer cotton linens that allow the textures of the table to shine through
• Pretty place settings from the Ark, Flowerwild’s new rental company that’s launching this year!
Personalized Place Settings
“Each of my girlfriends love fashion as much as I do so tying in my love for gold jewelry is something I knew they would appreciate. I incorporated these darling personalized nameplate bracelets by Junghwa into each place setting by clasping it around the napkins.” – Jenny
#FASHIONTOTABLE for #FLUTTERMAGAZINE
Jenny’s guest list included fellow fashion bloggers (left to right) Sophie Elkus, Lauren Shane, Ashley Fultz, Marta Pozzan, (Jenny Berheim), Annabelle Fleur, Mara Ferreira and Nikki DeRoest.
Signature Sips
Guests were welcomed with sparkling French 75s.
This signature sip is a piece of cake for any hostess to shake up.
French 75
3 tbsp Gin, ¼ cup champagne/sparkling wine, 1 ½ tbsp fresh lemon juice, 1 tbsp simple syrup, 1 lemon, 1 ice cube, 1 sugar cube
In a cocktail shaker combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake. Strain into a glass and top with champagne. Curl a lemon peel and garnish your drink with a twist!
La Vie En Fashion
Jenny is well-seasoned in all things Paris. It was a no-brainer to put a French twist into her family-style menu that included delectable small bites, assorted tartines and mini desserts.
Couture (Ice Cream) Cake
“Raspberry filling inside of a cake has always been my absolute favorite guilty pleasure! We called on Whoa Nelly Catering to create a dessert incorporating this, but with an updated element.
I love the new trend of naked cakes so this was a great creative twist that I was excited to present my guests with. Best part… it’s an ice cream cake!” – Jenny
