Spring is in the Stars…

Designer Joy Proctor has a crazy beautiful vision for every aspect of life. Her passion for creating wildly pretty inspirations is ambitious and the energy surrounding it is contagious.

When Joy and I sat down to dream up Flutter’s annual Bridal Astrology Guide we knew we wanted to push the boundaries of what we’d previously done. From the luxe Italian Villa-inspired guide in 2014 to the sweet and spirited #eatcakedrinkandbemarried editorial in 2015, how were the stars (and Joy) going to inspire your wedding style this year?

Joy mentioned to me that as child she had a book, Flower Fairies: The Meaning of Flowers, that has continued to inspire her creativity over the years. Since I’m obsessed with any and all things flora, my heart fluttered for this idea and La Botanique came to life! We set out to inspire your style with all the botanical details that play such a special part in designing the uniqueness of your day.

Paired with photographer Corbin Gurkin, floral designer Nicolette Camille, TEAM Hair + Makeups’ Mar Romero, Nicole Iyer and Geneva Scuriba, and a swoon-worthy location (Jardin de Buis), this dream team of visionaries came together (against all odds of winter storm Jonas, mind you) to celebrate you with flowers and lots of them!
