This rehearsal dinner had us at hello! Delightfully colorful details inspired by the bride’s Chilean heritage will have your heart fluttering with happiness.
Guests were welcomed to Ojai at Ojai Valley Inn’s Casa Elar. The private residence was the perfect locale to gather Carolina and Ethan’s guests for a homespun, Chilean-inspired, backyard barbeque complete with handmade pupusas, corn cakes, braised beef, tequila shrimp, assorted ice creams and celebratory cocktails.
It’s all things relaxed, fun and festive with dreamy decor: terracotta, wood elements, citrus, potted plants and the most joyful flower arrangements by Rockrose Floral that you’ve ever seen. And then there’s the warm and cozy glow (aka Ojai’s famous pink sunset) for the cherry on top!
Be sure to get your hands on a copy of Issue 17 to see the full wedding captured by Michelle Beller.
Carolina grew up in Chile. Her tropical roots and vibrant personality inspired the spirited colors and florals throughout the wedding weekend.
“The colors were inspired by my childhood home in Santiago, Chile. Nine months before the wedding, we walked through my father’s beautiful garden and picked flowers, trying different combinations. What became clear was that we preferred the vibrancy of a Spanish garden to the pastels that are widely used.” – Carolina
“The vibrant yellow, orange and coral, complemented by the flowering citrus that Ojai is known for, reflected the colors you’d find at a Spanish hacienda. This set the tone for the coming weekend — bright and celebratory!” – Event Designer, Michel B
